Food for His Children Tanzania empowers families in Karatu, Tanzania living with less than $1 per day with resources and hope so families can restore relationships with God, themselves, their communities, and creation and lead their communities out of poverty for generations to come.

We start each new project site by meeting with local village and church leaders in rural Tanzania. We focus on the assets of the community and learn about the strengths and goals of the people who live there. What do they envision for their future? What are the immediate needs for their people? How can we best help? We then invite the community to join us on a journey of transformation. Once we learn how we can best help a community, we get to work.
The most efficient way to empower people is frequently through ethical goat husbandry. While the goat offers real nutrition, we provide spiritual sustenance with the aid of the Gospel. Recipients change as a result of both components, gaining faith, confidence, and self-esteem. Our Field Officers visit with families one-on-one to learn about their aspirations and goals before breaking them down into manageable chunks.
