ACDI/VOCA is looking for an experienced and skilled individual for the post of administration assistant in order to fulfill its goal. The role reports to the Administration and Logistics Coordinator and is responsible for overseeing all general administrative duties of the Kilimo Tija Project in the Dar es Salaam office. This includes facilities management, inventory management, driver supervision, and office cleaning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- providing administrative and logistical support, such as scheduling lodging and locations for conferences and workshops, purchasing airline tickets, arranging for meetings, and ensuring that project employees have access to workshop materials.
- By taking care of preventative maintenance duties like making repair calls and keeping track of office inventory, you may contribute to ensuring that the office is properly managed and maintained.
- Maintain office supplies by checking stock to see how much is on hand, figuring out what supplies will be needed, placing and speeding up orders for supplies, making sure they arrive, and following store management procedures.
- Supervision of the office driver, cleaner, and general office cleanliness.
- aid in ensuring that the rules and regulations regarding vehicles and equipment are followed.
- Ensure that internal operations policies and processes are followed and completed on time in collaboration with the administration team in order for suppliers, such as office utility bills, garages, accommodations, etc., to be paid on schedule.
- Assist in making and keeping vehicle and equipment logs, making sure they are complete and up-to-date, and giving them to the supervisor as part of monthly report reconciliations.
- Assist in overseeing and directing administrative and logistical operations at the office. This is to make sure that all administrative and logistical policies are followed and that everyone in the office is safe and secure.
- maintains the dispatch registration book and the mail arrival register. distributes parcels and mail that have been received to the personnel.
- carries out any additional tasks that the boss may designate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- A Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Economics, Social science, or related field with at least three years of administration support experience in a busy office environment preferably with an international NGO.
- Hands- on experience with MS Office Suite (particularly MS World and MS Excel).
- Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
Grants Assistant
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelorโs degree in Finance, Accounting, business administration or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience working with USAID projects.
- English language proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Interpersonal and communication abilities that are good
- good documentation, record-keeping, and filing skills.
- Good skill of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and emailing.
- Ability to work in partnership with local communities and NGOs as appropriate.
Procurement Specialist at ACDI/VOCA
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- A high preference for training in USAID procurement rules and regulations, a bachelorโs degree in procurement or a similar subject, extra training or certifications in the procurement field, and certification as a member of the procurement board will all be advantages.
- five yearsโ worth of relevant job experience, including five yearsโ worth of procurement for USAID-funded projects.

Accountant at ACDI/VOCA
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelorโs degree or Advanced Diploma in accounting or finance from a recognized higher learning institution
- at least three years of experience working on USAID-funded projects in accounting or financial control.
- demonstrated strong knowledge of standard accounting practices (GAAP) and basic financial management.
- Knowledge of applicable related rules and regulations, as set out by ACDI-VOCA and USAID, will be an added advantage.
- working knowledge of an accounting package such as QuickBooks will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical skills, including the ability to collect and analyze data and come up with good suggestions for what to do,
- shown proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and position-specific software.
- the capacity to use sensitivity and suitable judgment while preserving privacy.

Accounting Assistant at ACDI/VOCA
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelorโs degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting/Finance from a recognized higher learning institution.
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in Accounting or Financial Control with USAID Funded projects.
- Understanding an accounting program like QuickBooks will be advantageous.
- demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as necessary to work effectively with persons on all levels both inside and outside the company.
- Ability to exercise appropriate judgment and tact while protecting confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment, in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressures.
- Accuracy, attention to detail.
- Ability to speak and write fluently in English.
Grants Specialist at ACDI/VOCA
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- A bachelorโs degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with USAID projects or related donor-funded projects. knowledge of USAID policies, guidelines, rules, and regulations
- Interpersonal and communication abilities that are good
- Excellent record-keeping, documenting, and filing techniques
- excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
- the capacity to collaborate with NGOs and local communities as necessary.
