SECURITY OFFICER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

SICPA Tanzania operations, locations, assets, personnel, supply chains, and visitors must all be physically secure to the highest quality inside the local company operation.

In compliance with national laws and company requirements, this person is in charge of implementing, maintaining, and continually enhancing the physical security level of all business locations and local activities in the country.

accountable for putting into action the approved physical security operation plan and making sure it operates successfully and effectively every day.

Giving Management and Staff Proactive and Reactive Advice and Sharing Useful Information Regarding Physical Safety and Security Measures

Accountable for managing local procedures, events, and incidents.

ROLE:

Ensure compliance with specified corporate physical security standards, requirements, best practices, and guidelines by implementing the physical security plan locally across all sites.

Must be aware of and guarantee adherence to all applicable laws, such as the Information and Security Policies and Procedures and the National Security Act of 1970.

Increase any security risks or weaknesses to our personnel, sites, solutions, regional operations, and supply chains in addition to promptly updating the general manager and the management team.

When any security guidelines are broken, safeguard any SICPA Tanzania property and uphold the law.

possess thorough knowledge of ID card system management, access control, alarms, and CCTV systems, and be able to supervise the appropriate operation of each. You should also manage maintenance of security equipment to guarantee that it operates effectively at all times.
To ensure communication of solutions, advantages, dangers, and innovations in the field of specialization, develop and manage a network of experts. liaison on behalf of SICPA Tanzania Limited with all law enforcement organizations.
Control all access to the office and warehouse buildings for both visitors and staff.
Perform security checks in the designated areas, compile reports on what is seen, and jail violators as necessary. SICPA Tanzania
Conduct routine risk assessments of the security of the SICPA Tanzania Office and Warehouse buildings, and if necessary, provide recommendation reports and action plans.

Conduct all local incident investigations as requested and ensure that the incident recording database is kept up to date, providing management information and statistics as required to improve or develop the security systems.

Develop an emergency response plan and provide related training to all employees.

Implement a security awareness program for all local employees.

Oversee 3rd party physical security providers, ensuring contract guard force appropriately follows security operation plan.

PROFILE:

Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Law Enforcement/ Law or any related Discipline

Must have a Minimum 5 to 8 years of related experience successfully overseeing security operations and also work experience with Tanzania police force and/or Tanzanian authorities.
