SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To constantly present the hotel in the best possible light in all interactions while also making sure that guests’ rooms are tidy, sanitary, and friendly. In addition to paying close attention to how clean each room is, good housekeeping methods also call for a welcoming, helpful demeanor and a polished look.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Daily Duties
• Maintains a hotel’s cleanliness and sanitization.
• Sweeps and vacuums rugs, carpets, and floors.
• Refreshes linens and makes beds.
• Sanitizes and cleans countertops, sinks, showers, toilets, and restrooms.
• Replaces towels and toilet paper
• Cleans out garbage cans.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness when providing visitors with services, and report any maintenance issues in your workplace.
• Make sure you are always attentive to your guests’ needs and provide prompt service.
• Ensuring that services are delivered promptly and without delays is essential.
· Attend to visitors’ wants and requests; ask visitors if they require your help.
• To be able to deliver exceptional service, make sure you have all of the guest’s information, including dietary restrictions.
• You must maintain records of your equipment, and if anything breaks, it must be noted and reported to your manager.

Requirements
• Experience as a housekeeper or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to a bush environment.
• Commitment to a high level of customer service.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Knowledge of hotels, lodges, and restaurants.
• The capacity to manage delicate situations with tact and effectiveness.
• A diploma or certificate in hotel management.
• Fluency in English is a requirement; other languages are advantageous.
• The ability to live in camps in far-off places.
• The maximum age is 35 years.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of experience.
