Media Volunteer (1)
TLS intends to recruit Media volunteer to be based in its Head Quarter Office Dar es Salaam.
Scope of Work
To help with the implementation of the Media Issues inside TLS head office and chapter offices, the Media Volunteer will closely collaborate with Program Officer Public Relations and Publication. The role of the media volunteer will be to report on breaking news and current events.
The media volunteer will perform the following duties:
i. To broadcast the Wakili TV programs.
ii. To designing different branding materials
iii. To organize, compose, and create online information.
iv. To produce concepts and content that will enhance Wakili TV shows.
v. To track, compile, and address audience concerns
vi. creating advertising and promotional materials
vii. To carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
viii. To broadcast live events
Qualification for Applicant
i. A Bachelorโs degree or a Mass Communication or Journalism diploma.
ii. Microsoft Office proficient
iii. Capable of displaying ethical business conduct
iv. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills both Swahili and English
Research and Publications Volunteer (1)
TLS plans to hire research and publication volunteers to work out of its Dar es Salaam headquarters.
Scope of Work
scholarly work and publications To assist in the execution of Research and Publications Issues throughout TLS main office and Chapter offices, the volunteer will collaborate closely with the Program Officer โ Research and Publications.
Qualification of the Applicant
i. A graduate degree in statistics, social science, or a closely related discipline
ii. Expertise in Microsoft Office Programs
iii. Capable of displaying ethical business conduct
iv. Possibility of preserving a flexible work schedule
v. outstanding Swahili and English communication abilities.
vi. Effective communication and organizing skills
Volunteer Advocates (10)
TLS plans to appoint volunteer advocates to work in its zones, which include the Western Zone (Tabora, Shinyanga), Southern Zone (Mbeya), Central Zone (Morogoro/Iringa), Northern Zone (Tanga), Lake Zone (Kagera), Bagamoyo (Ubungo, Kinondoni, Pwani), and Mzizima (Ilala, Temeke, Kigamboni), in addition to the TLS Head
Scope of the Work
The Volunteer Advocates will work closely with the Chapter Leaders and the Program Officer โ TLS Chapter Coordination to assist in the implementation of various activities within TLS head office and Chapter offices
Qualification for Applicants
i. The applicant must hold an LL.B. degree and be a member of Tanzaniaโs High Court and other subordinate courtsโ bar;
ii. Strong writing and analysis skills when conducting research;
iii. Excellent communication skills (oral and written);
iv. Expertise in internet- and computer-based research;
v. The capacity to plan or contribute to gatherings, seminars, or events;
vi. Swahili and English proficiency;
vii. The capacity for organization and attention to detail;
HR Volunteer (1)
TLS plans to appoint a volunteer in human resources to work out of its Dar es Salaam headquarters.
Scope of Work
To aid in the implementation of HR and Administration issues within TLSโs head office and Chapter offices, the HR Volunteer will collaborate closely with the HR Manager.
Qualification for Applicant
i. Human resource management bachelorโs degree.
ii. Microsoft Office proficient
iii. Capable of displaying ethical business conduct
iv. Possibility of preserving a flexible work schedule
v. Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities
vi. Effective communication and management abilities
Accountant Volunteer (1)
TLS plans to enlist the help of an accountant volunteer to work out of its Dar es Salaam headquarters.
Scope of Work
Accountant Volunteer will collaborate closely with the Chief Accountant to help TLSโs corporate office and chapter offices implement financial issues.
Qualification for Applicant
I have a bachelorโs degree in accounting or a closely related discipline.
ii. It is preferable to have more education and experience.
iii. Particular licenses or certifications could be necessary.
iv. Excellent computer, communication, and analytical skills.
v. Understanding of accounting and financial principles and processes.
vi. Able to demonstrate professional work ethics
