Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching Hours:
o Minimum of 40 peak hours per month
o Peak hours are from 18:00 to 22:00 Monday through Sunday (Beijing time). Teachers may select any 40 peak hours in a month to fulfill the minimum requirement (10 peak hours a week). Less than 40 hours a month might be reserved by teachers.
o Hours are not guaranteed.

Desired Experience & Qualification
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
secondary education
TEYL, CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL
Experience teaching English online for two years is preferred.
knowledge about computers

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
PC specifications
- Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or greater
- Memory: 8GB RAM or greater
Backup power
- Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with 4-5 hours of battery life (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). Candidates who are located in a nation that frequently has power outages must meet this condition, which is relevant and inapplicable.
A stable fibre internet connection
- requires a minimum of 20 mbps for both download and upload rates
- PC is not connected to Wi-Fi but rather over a LAN wire
Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera. Back-up headset highly recommended
