Hiring: Commercial Consultant

We are looking for an experienced, multi-faceted, and ambitious commercial consultant to work with Stable Foods to train the team and create procedures to ensure that our products are distributed and sold in the appropriate locations at the appropriate rates in order to support our growth. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Commercial Consultant will be responsible for developing and executing Stable Foods’ retail strategy. Main responsibilities will be developing our sales and marketing strategy, managing shop operations, and making connections with buyers in Nairobi. NB: This is a 6-month position, and it is based in Homa Bay County, Kenya.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the recruiting, logging, and maintenance of data for Stable Foods’ retail stores.
- Make ensuring that sales goals are met.
- Create and implement a thorough, corporate go-to-market plan that includes objectives and initiatives for sales and marketing. (New Job Vacancy)
- To help with critical company decisions, such as what crops to grow, conduct market research.
- Make business contacts and haggle with large-scale buyers in big cities.
- Teach the Stable Foods team members all of the aforementioned tasks and procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of past expertise in the marketing, company development, store management, and sales of produce and vegetables.
- A track record of effective leadership in business settings (sales, marketing, etc.)
- Be able to work independently, think strategically, and negotiate effectively.
