Position Purpose (why the position exists, within what limits and with what objectives)
• Responsible for determining best strategies for increasing customer purchases, creating company’s
visibility and increasing revenue.
• Assisting management in developing reasonable sales goals and
collaborate with marketing teams to expand brand presence through competitor analysis.
• Contribute to 100% of set target through the creation of new sales conversions every month.
Education:
A certificate in sales and marketing, a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or an equivalent
Work Experience:
Minimum of two years’ worth of expertise in business development, sales, and marketing, together with a track record of employment in the trading sector. (Regional Sales Officer)
Languages and Computer Skills:
- Kiswahili & English
- Computer literate (Office products)
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, willingness to ride a motorcycle, and ability to do so
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Actively looking for new sales prospects through fieldwork, visits, and cold phoning
surveys, networking and social media
- Keeping meticulous records of all transactions, appointments with clients,
and customer complaints.
- Creating and presenting branch manager with sales reports
- Making contact with prospective clients to discuss company offerings and promote purchasing.
- To make sure that the company’s products fulfill the needs of the market, product developers are informed of potential product enhancements and adjustments. (Regional Sales Officer)
- To support the long-term objectives of the business, forge important connections with interior designers, contractors, technologists, real estate developers, and architects.
- Gaining in-depth familiarity with the company’s products, making recommendations that satisfy consumer needs, and highlighting similarities and contrasts between similar products
