Business Development Manager at Save the Children
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Business Development Manager will lead the creation of fundraising strategies, facilitate donor engagement, discover donor opportunities, and organize the creation of funding opportunity proposal. The Business Development Manager will also be expected to closely monitor the progress of all major institutional grants and be able to speak to results in key reporting documents, as many conversations with donors involve a review or update around current grants as well as discussions about new opportunities. In Dar es Salaam, there will be a Business Development Manager. The position has an external focus, but it collaborates closely with the Awards department to engage with other Save the Children International affiliates that contribute to program financing.
