The University of Nottingham Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship
Scholarships covering 50% or 100% of tuition fees are available to creative and motivated students from African, South Asian, and certain Commonwealth nations who can offer development proposals for their home countries.
Our premier masterโs scholarship, Developing Solutions, was established in 2001 for students from African, South Asian, and other particular Commonwealth nations. International students who aim to influence the growth of important economic, environmental, structural, social, or political structures in their native countries should apply for this scholarship program.
The University of Nottingham is providing scholarships that will pay 50% or 100% of masterโs tuition for full-time students. Students who can effectively demonstrate their ingenuity for creating solutions that will touch their home nations and spark change are eligible for these one-year scholarships. They should be original and passionate. (The University of Nottingham )

Application requirements
The primary criteria used to evaluate applicants will be their ability to articulate their goals and a concrete plan for addressing important economic, environmental, structural, social, or political concerns in their home country. Strong candidates will be able to explain how this will help them and how it relates to the learning objectives of their course of study. When the spirit of Developing Solutions has been amply demonstrated, applications will subsequently be evaluated using more conventional scholarship criteria, such as your motivations for attending Nottingham and notable accomplishments.
Make sure you have enough time to think of thoughtful responses. When determining who receives a scholarship, we will consider your comments and academic standing. (The University of Nottingham )
Please be aware that each question has a tight word limit, which is specified at the end of each question. This is not automatically limited by the system, thus you are urged to double-check your application before submitting. Any submissions that go over the allotted word limit wonโt be examined.
Scholarship requirements
You are not required to accept their offer before completing your application for this scholarship, but only candidates who accept their offer to study with us will be given prizes.
All scholarship applications will be evaluated by the university before any grants are given. You can be given a scholarship worth 50% or 100% of your tuition. In early July 2023, weโll be in touch with you to let you know how your application turned out. (The University of Nottingham )
If you are given this scholarship, the amount will be taken out of the tuition fees you must pay to attend the University of Nottingham. Scholarships for tuition fees wonโt be paid to you directly by us.
Students may occasionally be able to apply for multiple University of Nottingham awards. Please be aware that a Regional Scholarship and a Developing Solutions Award cannot be combined under any circumstances, and in the odd case that you were offered both, the award with the higher value would be given priority. Rarely will kids receive Developing Solutions in addition to a sporting honor or a scholarship from their academic school. We try not to duplicate award, but in rare circumstances, this may be feasible if the combined amount does not exceed 100% of tuition fees, in order to maximize the reach of the universityโs scholarship program.
