For the academic year 2023, MultiChoice is inviting students to apply for their bursary program.
The following fields will get scholarships for all years of study, including first-year postgraduate degrees:
- Statistical Science
- Mathematics in Practice
- Computing Science
- Science of data and information
- Internet-based technologies
- Engineering in Electrical
- Computer Engineering
- Information Technology
- Technology Information (AI & Robotics)
MultiChoice Bursary Requirements
- You must be a resident of South Africa.
- You must be younger than 28 years of age.
- You must be a Matric graduate. (MultiChoice Bursary Programme)
- You must be pursuing a degree in one of the aforementioned fields, or you must plan to (undergraduate or postgraduate)
- You must be enrolled in or studying at a recognized higher education institution in South Africa.
- If you haven’t started studying, you must have a Matric average of at least 70%.
- If you are presently enrolled in a tertiary institution, you must have earned a minimum cumulative average of 65%.
Bursary Benefits
200 students will get cash from MultiChoice totaling R20 million. The Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation, an organization that supports South African youth and is a partner of MultiChoice, will provide funding to 10 pupils. (MultiChoice Bursary Programme)
