Your mission to free people to make more of themselves and its vision to unify the market making Houst the global home of hosting. You are the voice of Houst. Point of contact to our clients and guests to a variety of complex enquiries.

The Client Success Exec is responsible for providing world-class service to Houst Customers by resolving customer inquiries through multiple contact channels such as email, phone and chat. You are successful when: you consistently provide exceptional customer service to our clients and guests, and do it efficiently.

You will work with complex and not always standard issues so thinking out of the box, troubleshooting, outstanding communication skills and logical thinking is a must.

Ultimately, the focus of your team is to answer all inbound communication quickly and to a defined high standard – our host support team is always acting in the best interest of the host and the guest.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class service to UK based Houst Customers and guests via telephone, email and Live Chat.
  • Be a point of escalations from Host Support and resolve issues to a highest possible satisfaction.
  • Explain complex information in a simple way to a variety of customers.
  • Work with other teams to find best solutions, resolve queries, and lodge resolution claims.
  • Identify and use opportunities to increase customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Feel empowered to make a decision on refunds and good will gestures using logic, company procedures and market knowledge.
  • Contribute ideas to further improvement of processes and overall experience of Houst customers and guests.
  • Handling escalations and complaints within your team and providing support to your team Leader.
  • Managing inboxes and delegating cases.

A fantastic and unique opportunity has been developed to join Houst as our new People Business Partner. Reporting directly into the Head of People and Culture (who is based in our London HQ), you will be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle for all members of staff globally. From recruitment to HR policy development you will be touching every area of HR across the business. You will also be assisting with the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives. There is significant scope with this role for a driven and creative individual to really make their mark and help us rebuild the People and Culture Team post pandemic.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with line management and provide HR guidance
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Support with the development of HR policies and procedures and offer guidance to employees
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with country specific labor regulations across all of our region
  • Assist in recruiting, training and management of employees
  • Manage and administer payroll globally
  • Suggest new HR strategic initiatives
  • Plan and conduct international recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
  • Assist in employee retention and development
  • Organize and maintain employee records
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and performance related official documentation
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, annual leave and sickness)
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rate

Requirements

  • At least 4 years Human Resources experience
  • International experience in Human Resources supporting staff located across different regions globally
  • Experience in the management of payroll (ideally managing multi region payroll processes)
  • Proven work experience as an HR business partner
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Thorough knowledge of employment legislation
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • Understanding of full cycle recruiting
  • Track record of supporting and implementing performance management processes
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing and interviewing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Experience with delivering remote “soft” and “professional skills” training whilst not essential would be a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems, HRIS and ATS)
  • BSc degree in Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology a plus

What you will do:

  • Coordinate a network of suppliers to prepare homes for guest bookings and troubleshoot issues to resolve them in time before check-in
  • Resource planning, managing supplier communications, as well as coordinating and monitoring the delivery of linen to our client’s homes
  • Engage and check with suppliers to ensure homes are correctly prepared and provisioned with linen, cleaning equipment and toiletries and with no outstanding maintenance issues
  • Handling all real-time payments and raising purchase orders when necessary
  • Handling all operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning of all cleans/maintenance
  • Keep the client updated about any works or services done in the property
  • Contribute ideas to further improvement of processes and overall experience of Houst guests and hosts
  • Hybrid working between office and remote

Requirements

  • Must be French speaking
  • Team player with superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box and find creative ways to solve situations.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Well organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
  • Confidence in decision-making and owning your cases till completion.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • 40 hours per week across 5 days
  • Work on a Rota basis as the team operates 7 days a week.
